One of the most important considerations to keep in mind when Florida event planning is the fact that Florida is a popular and busy area. I will never forget the time I was on the committee for developing a trade show event. We had to pick the dates for the show which was one of the most important responsibilities of the committee.
I didn’t realize how important until I discovered we had chosen dates that coincided with the dates for a major auto show convention. The hotels were booked. It was difficult to get reasonable airlines reservations. It was impossible to get tickets to local sports events or to even get a tee time on the golf course. The tourist sightseeing tours were full.
We finally had to change the dates after spending all that time choosing them. We would have been much better off starting with a corporate event planning company who would have known from the start the dates we chose were not good.
